• Public Hearing The City of Dallas will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 to receive citizens’ comments on the proposed FY 12-13 Operating, Capital, Grant and Trust Budgets. Members of the public wishing to make comments are invited to attend the public hearing, which will be held not earlier than 1:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Dallas City Hall, 6th floor, 1500 Marilla St. Anyone interested in signing up in advance to speak at the public hearing may contact the City Secretary’s Office at 214-670-3738.
• Public Notice City of Dallas Amendment to the City’s FY2011-12 Action Plan for the Use of Federal Funds under the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Grant.
• Notice of review and comment period for Substantial Amendment No. 14 to the Consolidated Plan and Action Plan on proposed use of the City’s Community Development Block Grant Program and amended application for CDBG HUD Section 108 Guarantee Loan funds for $13,350,000 for the Lake Highlands Town Center project including development of commercial space and job creation in the 7140-7160 blocks of Skillman St.
• Request for Neighborhood Stabilization Program 3 (NSP3) Applications The City of Dallas is seeking Neighborhood Stabilization Program 3 (NSP3) applications from non-profit developers to acquire vacant foreclosed property from the Dallas Housing Acquisition and Development Corporation (Land Bank) to build affordable housing and to sell to families at 120% or below of Area Median Family Income (AMFI). Funding for Program will be provided through the City of Dallas NSP3 funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Funding is contingent upon availability from HUD.
