City of Dallas Rent Relief

We are no longer accepting applications for assistance.

Due to the high volume of application submissions, we are no longer accepting new applications. We will continue to process applications submitted prior to the closure of the application portal as long as funding remains available. ERA funding has been fully committed to pending clients.

Applications that we are unable to serve due to funding limitations will be kept in the queue so that those applicants can be contacted and served in the event additional funding is received.

Generally, applications will be processed in the order of receipt. Applications are subject to prioritization based on funding availability and staff capacity. In order to serve those with the highest level of need and most urgent risk of homelessness or housing instability, and to meet requirements set forth by the US Treasury for program delivery, applications for clients who are facing eviction will be assigned for review and processing first. Applicants who are unemployed and have been unemployed for 90 or more days and/or 50% AMI or below will also be prioritized for assignment and review.
