Immigrants comprise 23% of our city and serve a crucial role in its vitality  - 42% of Dallas households speak a language other than English, and 35% of the labor force in the Dallas metro area are immigrants. Welcoming Communities and Immigrant Affairs Division aspires to be a bridge connecting Dallas’ diverse immigrant community with existing Dallas residents so that common ground and shared leadership can be realized.

WCIA's weekly updates is a weekly email containing relevant resources and information from the City of Dallas and other organizations to assist and enrich the lives of Dallas residents.
