Employee Leave & Absence Guidance

Civilian employees who test positive, are fully vaccinated and in need of leave related to COVID-19 may be eligible for 40 hours of Quarantine Leave (Q-Leave). Click here for the Quarantine Leave (Q Leave) Civilian Request Form (Last Updated 3-27-2024).

Sworn employees should work through their chain of command if Q-Leave Uniform is needed.

COVID-19 Vaccination Information

City of Dallas Employees have multiple options for obtaining a COVID-19 vaccination. There are many ways to locate a COVID-19 vaccine in Texas and the information below are not the only options. Employees can and should pursue other COVID-19 vaccine scheduling systems around the state.
