Keep Dallas Beautiful offers a Community Hand Tool Program which is designed to provide volunteer groups with equipment to mow grass, cut vegetation and clean up litter in their neighborhood for weekend clean-up projects or other beautification events. 

This program serves all areas of the City of Dallas. Loaner equipment will be available at no cost, however, it is only available on a first come, first serve basis. Equipment will include lawn mowers, string trimmers, hedgers, pole saws, rakes, brooms and shovels. 

  • ​Eligibility: To qualify to use the tools, participants must be a Non-Profit Organization, Neighborhood Association or a Community Group. Requests must be made two weeks in advance of planned use. 

  • Requirements: Volunteers must fill out the equipment loaner/rental agreement and attend a safety & training presentation. If you would like to be feautured on the KDB Instagram, please sign the COD Photo Release Form.
