    A facility for exhibitions, trade shows, and conventions

Districts Permitted

    By right in CS, industrial, central area, MU-3, MU-3(SAH), and MC-4 districts.

Required Off-Street Parking

    One space for each 700 square feet of floor area, exclusive of atriums, mechanical rooms, stairwells, and hallways. Required off-street parking must be provided on the site within 500 feet of a public entrance to the trade center. However, parking may be located at a distance greater than 500 feet if a satisfactory system of transportation between the trade center and parking area is established and maintained by the owner of the use.

Additional Provisions

  • This use must have a minimum floor area of 2,000,000 square feet
  • This use must have a site area of at least 100 acres. The site area may be divided by streets. The area of the dividing streets is not included in the computation of the site area.
  • No more than 40 percent of the floor area may be used for retail sales
