Definition

  • A restaurant with drive-in service is an establishment principally for the sale and consumption of food where food service is provided to customers in motor vehicles for consumption on the premises
  • A restaurant with drive through service is an establishment principally for the sale and consumption of food which has direct window service allowing customers in motor vehicles to pick up food for off-premise consumption

Districts Permitted

By right in CR, RR, CS, industrial, mixed use, and multiple commercial districts. By SUP only in central area districts. DIR required in CR, RR, CS, industrial, mixed use, and multiple commercial districts

Required Off-Street Parking

  • Except as otherwise provided, one space per 100 square feet of floor area; with a minimum of four spaces
  • One space per 500 square feet of floor area used for the manufacture of alcoholic beverages as an accessory use to the restaurant with drive-in or drive-through service use

Handicapped Parking

Must be provided if more than ten off-street parking spaces are required for this use
