Except as otherwise provided in this article, the following general provisions apply to all uses listed in this section
All uses must be retail or service establishments dealing directly with consumers. No person may produce goods or perform services on the premises unless those goods or services are principally sold on the premises to individuals at retail
Outside sales, outside display of merchandise, and outside storage may be classified as either main or accessory uses. Accessory outside sales, accessory outside display of merchandise, and accessory outside storage are limited to five percent of the lot. If these uses occupy more than five percent of the lot, they are only allowed in districts that permit them as a main use
In a GO(A) district, a retail and personal service use
must be contained entirely within a building; and
may not have a floor area that, in combination with the floor areas of other retail and personal service uses in the building, exceeds 10 percent of the total floor area of the building
