Loving My Community Neighborhood Improvement Grant (LMC)

Application Development Workshop

To ensure that all interested parties understand the requirements, restrictions and guidelines related to developing ideas and application submission, each applicant group will be required to send at least one member of their team to one of the mandatory workshops.

Two workshops will be held during the application window. Both will cover the following topics:

• Idea selection and measurable outcomes
• Community participation and input
• Determining resources needed
• Researching regulations
• Gaining site control and city advice
• Developing a project budget and work plan

Certificates of completion will be presented at the end of the workshop and will be logged into the LMC application system. A copy of the certificate should be included as an attachment to each application submission. Any application submitted without a documented workshop attendee will be viewed as incomplete.

For the convenience of the community, all workshops will be held on Saturdays at City Hall to ensure maximum attendance availability. Each workshop will be start at 9am and be 2-3 hours in length.
