CITY OF DALLAS

Requires two years general mechanical experience including utility construction/maintenance, meter repair/reading or building/grounds maintenance.  Assist and coach other staff in skilled repair and maintenance tasks. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record; for some positions, a class "B" Commercial Driver's License must be obtained within the probationary period.  Some positions require availability for 24-hour call and various shifts.  High school or equivalent.

This position is located at the Dallas Convention Center. Experience in mechanical, painting, plumbing or electrical maintenance or event set-up in a hotel or multi-use facility is preferred. Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays and pass a background check.
