Cotton Bowl Stadium in Fair Park continues to host a variety of events.  In 1994, the Cotton Bowl was chosen as one of six United States venues for World Cup Soccer and was host to international soccer games in 1995 and 1996.  The Cotton Bowl events include the Southwestern Bell Cotton Bowl Classic, Major League Soccer Dallas Burn home games, the State Fair Classic football game and continues to attract thousands of fans from all over the world.
