Where is the Dallas Convention Center located?

The south side of downtown at Griffin and Ceremonial, one block North of I-30.  Map

Where is parking at the Dallas Convention Center?

Underground lots that enter at Griffin and Memorial and numerous surface lots in the area.

How much does it cost to park?

$8 per car underground lot.
$8 per surface lot at Lamar & Ceremonial.

How can I rent the facility?

Can I take pictures of steers at Pioneer Plaza?

Yes.

Where is the Farmers Market located?

The Market is located in the southeastern corner of Downtown Dallas at 1010 S. Pearl just north of I-30.  It can be accessed from I-30 via exit 46A "Downtown Dallas, Central Expressway" or from Central Expressway by following the Live Oak, Downtown Dallas Exit until you dead end into the market.  Map

How do I obtain a Farmers Market calendar?

You may pick up your calendar free of charge from the Operations office or you may mail in your request with a check made payable to the City of Dallas for:
     1 calendar $2.50
     2 calendars $2.75

What are your operating hours at Farmers Market?

The Market is open from 7 A.M. to 6 P.M., seven days a week, closing only on Christmas and New Year's Day.  In the summertime, it is open from 6 A.M. to 7 P.M.

How much does it cost to rent the Majestic Theatre?

The Majestic Theatre has several rates depending on your need and your status as a community-base, nonprofit organizations.  For specific rates, please call the Theater Operating Company at (214) 880-0137.

You mean the Dallas Symphony Orchestra doesn't manage the Meyerson?

In addition to the Meyerson Symphony Center, the City of Dallas operates the Dallas Convention Center.  The Office of Cultural Affairs operates Bath House Cultural Center at White Rock , South Dallas Cultural Center and Juanita Craft Civil Right House.  Other cultural facilities owned by the City but operated by nonprofit cultural groups includes the African-American Museum, Artist Square, Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Museum of Natural History, Dallas Theater Center's Kalita Humphries Theater, Fair Park Music Hall, Hall of State Majestic Theater, Old City Park and The Science Place.
