In May 2002, the Dallas City Council nominated a 15-member commission to review aspects of the Dallas City Charter and to make recommendations to the City Council on its findings. The Dallas Charter Review Commission is a non-partisan volunteer body of local residents representative of the city's population.
June 18, 2003, the Dallas Charter Review Commission presented its final report to the City Council. All documents related to the Dallas Charter Review Commission are on file in the office of the City Secretary. All inquiries should be directed to:
