Major Systems Repair Program (MSRP)

The City of Dallas Major System Repair Program (MSRP) provides a list of certified independent contractors to homeowners. The homeowners may select a contractor from this list or provide the name of a contractor to be certified to complete repairs using federal funds.

Reconstruction Program

The Reconstruction Program is a referral program from the MSRP. This Program provides assistance when the house is in a condition that is not repairable. The City demolishes and builds a new home on the same homeowner site. The house is built to Energy Star certification.
