Men Against Abuse: Mayor Rawlings to Rally 10,000 Men Against Domestic Violence in Dallas
Last month, I was compelled to speak out against the senseless, horrific acts of domestic violence taking place in our city. Overwhelmingly, 85% of these violent acts involve a man attacking a wife, girlfriend or partner.

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings teams up with The Dallas Morning News and KERA to discuss mental illness
Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings is proud to partner with The Dallas Morning News and KERA in “Erasing the Stigma: Mental Illness and the Search for Solutions”-a symposium on treatment for the mentally ill. The symposium free and opened to the public will be on Tuesday, February 5 at the City Performance Hall in the Arts District beginning at 7P til 8:30P.

Dallas to Compete in Healthy at H-E-B Community Challenge
Today, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings accepted a challenge from San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro to compete in a statewide initiative to see which Texas city can demonstrate the greatest commitment to health. Making the announcement via online video, Mayor Rawlings encouraged Dallas organizations, schools and businesses to join him in participating in the Healthy at H-E-B Community Challenge.

Mayor Rawlings and Dallas MyFi Kids ask for Your Vote in Online Competition
