iSWM Program (Draft)

The City of Dallas encourages you to use the integrated stormwater management (iSWM) manual when developing parcels exceeding 3 acres. The iSWM manual promotes development that enhances water quality and preserves natural terrain. In December 2009, City Council approved the use of the Regional: iSWM Manual or http://iswm.nctcog.org/criteria_manual.asp.

The local iSWM Manual is in draft form.City Council has not approved the local iSWM manual and therefore incentives detailed in the draft local iSWM manual are not available at this time. In reviewing the draft document, you may find conflicts with the regional manual and/or city codes. If you have comments or suggestions on these conflicts or any other part of the draft local iSWM manual, please contact Dorcy Clark at 214.671.9583 or dorcy.clark@dallascityhall.com.

Please contact Hamid Fard at 214.948.4223 if you would like to use iSWM to improve the quality of water within the City.
