Shed 1: Features local farmers that compliment the produce dealers

  • Farm merchant: A farmer who buys from other farmers in a three-state area. Farm merchants typically bring their own crops plus those of neighbors and friends.

Shed 2: Will soon feature-eateries, specialty foods, and food related products

Shed 2 will provide an alternative to the busy supermarkets around town; not only will you be able to shop for specialty products but sample them as well. The unique difference for Shed 2 is that it is fresh, local and easy to purchase.

The newly-renovated Shed 2 will house tastes like:

  • Spices and spice blends
  • Freshly-baked, gourmet cookies and pastries
  • Locally pastured meat and poultry
  • Yogurt and cheese from a local dairy
  • …and much, much more

The Dallas Farmers Market is currently accepting applications for food and food related products to include in Shed 2, for information and application please call 214-670-5880 or email Sol Calinao.

Shed 3: Produce Dealers

Produce Dealer: A merchant that may buy and resell refrigerated produce including food shipped from out of state such as Washington cherries, California table grapes and Mexican avocados. During the height of the local produce season, dealers may buy local produce for resale.
