Code Compliance Services Site Set Up No vending equipment or merchandise may be placed or displayed outside the perimeter of the vendor’s vending site. All vendors must operate entirely within the limits of the designated officially approved vending site; however, the vendor is permitted to stand outside of the perimeter of the site while performing vending activities. A space of at least one (1) foot shall be maintained between individuals and the vending sites in any vending location. Pushcart/ vending equipment or merchandise may not be left on a street, sidewalk, or parking space beyond 8:00 pm. Sidewalk vendors may not lead to or cause congestion or blocking of
pedestrian traffic on the sidewalk. All vendors must locate on the
interior of the sidewalk, leaving at least six feet or 50% of the Mobile generators and extension cords across sidewalks or other properties are not allowed. No permanent hardware may be affixed to the sidewalk or adjacent buildings. Pushcart operator or his/her employees must be present at the cart at all times except in cases of emergency. Maintenance The pushcart vendor is responsible for proper disposal of waste and trash associated with the operation. The vendor must keep the immediate area covering 5 feet on all sides measured from the perimeter of the pushcart, in a hazard-free condition, clean of grease, trash, paper cups, coolers, or cans associated with the vending operation.
