Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) - Obtaining a M/WBE List
The M/WBE list is used primarily by prime contractors looking for certified M/WBEs in order to fulfill their Business Inclusion and Development (BID) Plan obligations. Once a business is certified, it is automatically placed on the list.
Becoming a certified M/WBE in no way guarantees that a firm will receive a contract or subcontracting opportunity, but it is a good way of getting a firm's name in the hands of the people that may need their services.
