“Public Information Forums to Discuss Food Distribution to the Homeless”
The City of Dallas Environmental and Health Services Department is hosting Public Information Forums to discuss the changes in the Food Ordinance as they apply to groups or individuals who distribute food to the homeless.

The Dallas City Council amended Chapter 17 “Food Establishments and Drugs” of the Dallas City Code on June 8, 2005. As part of the changes to the Food Ordinance, food service providers are required to complete a Safe Food Handling Training.
