City of Dallas Presidents' Day Holiday Closings and Schedules

All City of Dallas offices will be closed on Monday, February 21, 2005, in observance of the Presidents' Day holiday.

All Dallas Public Library locations will be closed.

Residential garbage and recycling collection will be provided. All transfer stations and the McCommas Bluff landfill will be open as usual. The administrative offices of The Department of Sanitation Services will be closed.

All Dallas Park and Recreation centers will be open.

Other City of Dallas departments and services will operate as follows:

• The Dallas Police Department will operate on a normal schedule, however administrative offices will be closed.
• Dallas Fire-Rescue will operate on a normal schedule.
• The 911 and 311 Communications Center will operate on a normal schedule.
• Animal Control Shelters will be closed to the public. Animal control officers will respond to 311 emergency calls.
