TI employees and their families

TI Fair Park Family Weekend reveals treasure trove of museums, natural wonders.
Texas Instruments enjoys sharing some of Dallas’ greatest jewels with thousands of its closest friends. We’re talking Fair Park’s priceless collection of museums, wildlife habitats and legendary buildings. So it’s second nature to invite TI employees and their families to the Tech Smart Big Heart TI Fair Park Family Weekend, August 12 - 15. Every museum will create an exciting environment that allows TIers to experience the park’s cultural energy to the fullest. From storytelling and picnicking to activities relating to special exhibits, discoveries await around each corner.

For some visitors, especially children, it will be a first encounter of the richest kind. The lazy lure of the Leonhardt Lagoon…the marvels of The Science Place…the pride of the African American Museum…the deep secrets of the Dallas Aquarium…and so many more enticements. Not to mention the abundance of magnificent Art Deco structures.

Ann Pomykal, Director of the TI Foundation and TI Corporate Giving, is exuberant about the history and promise of Fair Park. “It offers something for everyone. The future of Fair Park depends on families being introduced to the extraordinary collage of museums and natural attractions here. Texas Instruments has been a major supporter of numerous Fair Park museums and the reason is this: while we cherish the park’s history, we want to move forward with the technological demands of tomorrow.”

Ann continues, “The TI Fair Park Family Weekend attracted over 4,000 TIers and their families last year. They were so thrilled to discover Fair Park, and now visit it over and over. We were privileged to work with the best park department and museum staff you could ask for. It was truly a win-win situation for everyone involved.”

With all that glitters at Fair Park, this year’s event certainly makes for a jewel of a weekend!
