Fair Park is a 277-acre National Historic Landmark, owned by the City of Dallas and operated under the management of Fair Park Administration a division of the Park and Recreation Department. During the period of the State Fair of Texas, management and security is the responsibility of the State Fair Association. 2. What are the operating hours of Fair Park? The park gates are open each morning at 6:00 a.m. and closed (except for special events) at 10:00 p.m. 3. What museums are at Fair Park? There are eight museums in Fair Park: 4. What does it cost to visit the museums? Each institution sets an admission fee. This can vary based on special exhibits from time to time. 5. Can I have a party or an event at the museums? Are there other facilities available for lease? Who do I contact? Fair Park museums are located in City owned facilities but privately operated.
