The Fair Park Band Shell (see pictures below) was disassembled and refurbished back to the 1936 glory in 2000.  The removal and replacement of plaster on the band shell and pylons, new lighting, painting, roof, doors, lead based paint abatement and historical paint analysis were all part of the project.  The wood plank seating at the Fair Park Band Shell was replaced in 2002.  Consultant for the project was GSR-Andrade Architects (formally AAE Architects).
