Pan American Arena (Livestock Coliseum), c.1929 Architect unknown As he did on the Esplanade, Dahl incorporated existing buildings into a much larger facility, and faced them with a new Art Deco facade. The new entrance was symmetrically aligned with the north entrance of the stadium, terminating a much longer planning axis that extended south to the Museum of Fine Arts. Within this contiguous building are various livestock barns, one of which has been renovated into the Dallas Police Mounted Unit Headquarters, Gary Garmon, 1998.
